Detox diets are a pain in the arse, literally!

I started a detox diet last Monday. By Tuesday night I had a splitting headache and by Wednesday bedtime I was writhing in agony with pain running from the small of my back, through my bum cheeks and down to my shins. What do you reckon? Is it caused by the diet or is it just an unfortunate coincidence of having tweaked my disc, again? Either way, it’s going to trash my detox plan because what I have reduced in fats, carbs, caffeine and alcohol, I have replaced with intravenous paracetamol. If anyone out there has any suggestions, post ‘em before I end up stabbing someone in the face with a raw carrot.
