I’ve only just heard about the tax avoidance scheme that Premier League footballers use. They set up companies and their wages are paid to them as loans from those companies, thereby paying very little tax, certainly nothing like the 50% they are supposed to be paying. Clever eh? Well, you might think it’s clever, or, you might think they’re a bunch of greedy fuckers, especially in the current ‘we’re all in it together’ climate.
